My new camper engine is done. Run in the cam for 20 minuts today.
Smells a lot of petrol from the exhaust fumes, so i guess it runs a bit rich
Next Thursday is time for the dyno. Last 2056 i had made 107 hp at the wheels, hope is there's more this time, better heads on this one.

Not mutch. 1800 heads once again, only home ported, same cam, 296' and crank 71mm.
B and p 96mm. Uped the comp some. 2x 45 Del Ortos. Original exhaust with heat exchangers.

 

So you came to the conclusion the heads werent flowing enough?

 

When would you like me to collect the old engine?

 

It's in a 1303 rally cross car. Driven by a man with no legs, and it rocks

Well,,my engine builder liked what he saw when Losens heads came back from JPM
And this being the 3. 2056 he has built for me, he like to get more out of them each time

 

End of a good day at the dyno. 107bhp @5200rpm. 146Nm @4100.

 

I assumed this thread was referring to the year my '76 will finally be tax-free...
