  1. Surplus to requirements

Pair of Wagenswest welded 2.5" drop spindles for Late Bay

    Secondhand but in good condition

Bolt on items, no need to cut off bump stops - the stokc suspension geometry is unaltered, the only compromise is a slight increase in track (10-20mm).

£280 plus post (NOTE: Reduced price - previously listed as £300 plus post).

  2. Now on eBay (I need the cash for a rust-free RHD front beam)

Cheaper on here for obvious reasons (ridiculous fees!!!)

  3. Bump

(not currently listed on eBay, will be again sometime soon ... unless sold on here)

  10. Ahem - I edited the original post so no one missed the new price! You can do that you know ....

  11. Hi Graeme,

Would these fit only post73 spindles?

    Cheers

  12. Hi Matt. I believe they will fit any Bay bus after 68 that is fitted with discs upfront (I think that they are all ball-joint axles after that date ...).

  13. Ill rephrase that as i was at work at the time and actually wrote the wrong thing...numpty :D

Will these fit to pre 73 discs and calipers ??

    Thanks mate

  14. Hello! Right, I am no expert on slightly earlier Bays but I believe that the earlier calipers were slightly narrower but I would assume the same hole fixings. Wagenswest advertise the spindles as fitting 69-79 Bays. Can you whip a front wheel off and measure the caliper attachment bolt spacing??

Earlier brakes have different calipers and discs then one year only ones then late ones, wagens west list them as fitting bays from 68-79 but you still have to select the correct year van, been there with dropped spindles and had to return them as they wouldn't fit

  16. And guess which year i need....

    Bum.

  17. Pre-73 I assume? Daft thing is I bought them off a mate who had a Crossover, so now I can't be sure if they are for early or late bay!! Aaaaargh!!

I am collecting a replacement axle next week and the guy will have late spindles lying around for certain so I will take one of my drop spindles with me to compare....

    Any joy with Parcelforce??

  18. Actually yes.

    Will pm you :)

  19. Whats the postage price on these & are they early or late bay ?? As they are different I had experiences with drop spindles in the past &the caliper bolts holes were smaller on the prototype bay &if I remember rightly the prototype bay drop spindle was slightly thinner too
