Just brought a 1973 Us microbus. It's a auto with an 1800 type 4 engine. Plan is to get the gearbox fixed as it slips in 3rd gear then do a few little bits on it over the summer leaving it as a microbus then over winter put it in for a re spray and fit an interior.
Of course. Yep the Z hinges are a bonus although they don't allow for rear foam or I'd have kept them in permanently.
Im finishing Friday lunchtime, I might have to drop by on my way home and have a peep (Ill be in the westy)!
Changed the brake warning light on the dash as it was missing at dinner. My god the wiring loom needs some tidying. The 69's new loom against the 73.
Out of a set of clocks I brought. Got them early morning at Stamford for the surround only to realise they were rhd!
Always the case with after market parts never the same. Looks like cleaning the old filter and re-fitting in the gearbox.
did you get any ware with the oil filter Scott? Absolutely loved the bus when I saw it Friday, looked great
No got no where so going to trailer it down to that auto place in notts to see if they can diagnose the problem.
