1973 microbus "humbug"

Discussion in 'Show Us Your Ride' started by sjhjoinery, May 19, 2014.

  1. Just brought a 1973 Us microbus. It's a auto with an 1800 type 4 engine.
Plan is to get the gearbox fixed as it slips in 3rd gear then do a few little bits on it over the summer leaving it as a microbus then over winter put it in for a re spray and fit an interior.

    That looks pretty solid

  6. Of course.

Yep the Z hinges are a bonus although they don't allow for rear foam or I'd have kept them in permanently.

  12. Changed the brake warning light on the dash as it was missing at dinner. My god the wiring loom needs some tidying.
The 69's new loom against the 73.

  18. Always the case with after market parts never the same.
Looks like cleaning the old filter and re-fitting in the gearbox.
