I presume everyone is content that this spat is sorted? Meanwhile can I remind people that calling someone what Kevin called Steve is not acceptable on this forum and my finger is poised on the ban button. I won’t remove it or lock the thread at this juncture but let’s please be civil!
As for the original question, it's far easier to drop the engine out and the gearbox separately if you've never done it before - and buying a Haynes manual will be money well spent ,is a tenner from Ebay a bit too much ?? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
There’s always a moderator required that’s what we’re here for! particularly when people are calling each other that!
@kevin smith - I have met @Zed - he is both a miserable bugger and the most helpful man at the same time. try not to take offence at people on the forum. Most people are trying to help with the occasional people who are taking the you know what. I was in a field at Tech Enders last weekend and was told to look in my Haynes manual at the rating and order of fuses in the fuse box. Somebody had suggested a poster could give me the answer, but the subject of that answer had told me to look in the manual. I have the manual as a PDF and was able to look at it to answer the question I did not take offence at the suggestion that I look in the manual. This Forum is an invaluable resource also be open minded to all suggestions offered. Just my opinion. Feel free to ignore me. Most people do.
I find the 'IGNORE' button works a treat , I only use it for one 'member' on here - 'member' being a valid description... Try it @kevin smith rather than calling someone a **** on an open forum Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
No , said 'member' is a tool of the highest order . You've forgotten more than he knows despite his three apprenticeships as a 'mechanic' . Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
sorry, but meant 'he' instead of 'you' in my post. was talking about the vaguely knowledgable @Zed, not the other one
how rude - there was me, trying to explain the Internet to our older members when it was turned upon me. touche mon ami, touche.
