Just past 1,000 miles since I picked the van up from @Paul Weeding after a full engine rebuild. One minor glitch with a rocker gasket, an oil change at about 400 miles and all running well. Due a service now, but I'm going to wait for the weather to improve a bit. The engine has loosened up nicely now - it spins up well and is very smooth with a nice bit of induction roar from the Webers. Keeps up with traffic and even gets past the slower stuff with ease. Very pleased with it so far!
I have had over 3 months to get a picture of the new engine installed, so there's no excuse really and I promise to do so tomorrow(ish).
