091 Gearbox

I am sure someone on here was after one of these ?

I was under the impression that the T25 version of that box can't be used in Bay's - I seem to recall the shift rod is in a different place?

 

Really early ones can be used... You have to transfer the nosecone from a bay onto it... But the later ones can't be used as the shifter is on the side of the gear housing as opposed to the side of the nosecone

So this one looks like it has a hydraulic clutch - how can you tell where the shifter goes? Also, the nose cone off of what Bay Gearbox needs to be transferred?

Is this one a viable gearbox for a Bay?

Nose ones are available on vw heritage for an 091 box.
