  12. Anyone remember the sweet smell of the London Underground that used to come wafting up at you? Very distinctive and not unpleasant. May have been all those wooden escalators covered in grease, waiting to burst into flames...:eek:

    The Tube just doesn't smell the same these days.

    steel framed single pane windows, condensation, old duffle coats on yer bed to keep warm, bed bugs, hidings, the strap, and comando comics, clarkes commando school shoes with a compass in the heal .... school clothes for christmass... along with an apple orange and a bannana, no phone and rental TV,
