  1. Dutch show.....Lakeside setting, swimming in the lake actively encouraged, water slide, fountain,...large well staffed bar area, plenty of well maintained toilets (with piped music...how posh do you want it!) loads of swipe card operated showers...all spotlessly clean, on site supermarket at normal prices, bakery, etc etc..
Campsite divided by trees & bushes into smaller secluded camping areas....we sat and watched people arriving all day Friday and they all found a good spot to camp...acres of room.
Nobody was barking at folk who fancied a slow drive around the arena, when the footy was on the big screen vans full of people were rolling up to watch
Regular traders were plentiful, and there was a large car boot area with plenty of good bits...
Did I mention the drag strip....and I don't mean blokes in frocks....
Lakeside show and shine in the sun...wonderful!
Then you get the reality of the UK shows....as you turn up you get the list of 'dont's'....
And another thing...whats the point of putting 'strictly no fires' on the tickets/ website and then when everyone gets the fire pit out in the evening nobody says a word?
I always take a fire pit with me...

  2. I am also known to indulge in a little light housekeeping from time to time.

    See you at Brighton?

  3. Oh yes! Will be there trying to flog tickets for my show... did I mention I organise a show at all?

  4. Do you really? I don't think you've mentioned it. ;) Have you been doing this for long? You hide your light under a bushel, there's no mention of it in your avatar or your sig.

  5. I didn't know that either, do you respond to criticism of your show on popular inter web forums?
    (if applicable)
