I’m not knocking myself as such owen I know I can and I have many times in the past done a lot better. I’ve just accepted that I’ve got to work with what I have.
Fitted the cab door striker plate and engine lid to get them out of my way. Nothing I can do about the poor panel gap between the bottom of the engine lid and rear valance I’ll just have to live with it. Proof that painting epoxy resin over the top of corrosion doesent hold it back! It needs mechanically/chemically removing as much as possible and a zinc phosphate rich primer before top coat. Areas I’ve redone are not showing signs of corrosion coming back through yet.
Been a long time since I tuned into this thread: nice to see you’ve decided not to sell Nomad Para and glad you seem to have regained your resto mojo! Have to agree with others, the new paint looks awesome especially with the texture - I’d’ve never believed roller applied paint could look so good - you absolutely have to do stencilled tyre pressures!
