  6. That does look cool

  7. Put the rear side window back in today
I just need to wait for the tool to arrive so I can fit the filler strip then the vans a bit more weather sealed.

  8. Window seal locking strip tool arrived
I opted to buy one that comes with different sized heads .

It made easy work of fitting the locking strip
    [IMG]

However it presented a problem at the end
The locking strip had become stretched during fitting which left an extra length sticking out
    [IMG]

After asking in mech tech and taking on board davidofts advice
I started of putting the two loose ends in first then worked backwards also using lube.

And sorted window seal and locking strip all fitted

  10. Yup it sure does and when the accessories get painted black and go on I’m sure it will really complete the look.

  11. How does that work??

There’s four gas burners that pass the heat and fumes through a series of chambers and tubes before exiting from an exhaust on the side
The heat radiates into the van and the fumes exit outside of the van.

It’s great because there are no moving parts and no electrics/electronics
It only needs a gas supply and is almost silent in operation

  13. Thats a cool bit of kit, i gather it works pretty well?? Where do you mount the gas bottle??

  14. Getting there - any news on the engine front @paradox ??

  15. I’ve got the bits back a while ago
It’s all boxed up awaiting my attention

  16. Yes it works very well no cutting in and out all night like a propex or erber
Gas bottle will be strapped inside a cupboard below the cooker
