'm with Para - "cup of tea and a ssllice of cake Aunt Sally?"

  4. pinky and perky were funny ,Sos Para only managed 44 seconds of the old boy...

when I was here alone, I took advantage of getting certain series`s that when I was younger I just got the odd episode ,like Morse ,a touch of frost ,the wire, sopranos etc and watched then on a evening [only had a dvd player]..

Now when I go on holiday I do the same ,this year maybe The new avengers or homeland ,I never get time in normal life...

    I liked this dunno why..

  11. I don't keep them. I move them on when I have finished watching then. Currently we are on season five Big Bang theory. Season two breaking bad, and game of thrones season one.

We've also got OZ, a brilliant show from HBO & my perennial favourite M.A.S.H.
I've also downloaded F Troop, The Cisco Kid & Rin Tin Tin to relive my childhood, much to Ms. T's amusement :D

  13. Gogs, plasteciene cavemen;puke, snot, farts and mindless violence. Old Tom and Jerry

  14. Band of brothers. The complete 24 collection is here too somewhere.

  15. These compilations were made in the 1980's by Jack for video release and some were shown on Channel 4. There are some original Southern TV episodes available if you've not already got them - quite pricey but for the completist and fans of the style of Jack Hargreaves probably worth it... Out Of Town - The Lost Episodes.

I bought this too under the guise of showing it to my nieces / nephews - wouldn't like them to miss out on such a classic kids series, but I quite like watching it too ;)

I have too many TV series on DVD to mention - not sure what my favourite would be - I just love old TV and so much is available these days.
