How to deal with petty criticism .....
So madam decided to make a point of mentioning the empty "bathroom stationary" roll that I forgot to bin for once in my life
Really got my goat until I thought of something to diffuse my grump.
Next time she was back from work:

 

Point out to her that women put the bog roll on backwards. That’ll shut her up.

After doing the terribly Blighty thing of waiting patiently for three and a half hours in a room - without daring to go for a pee in case I missed my turn -I asked a nurse if they knew when I’d be seen.

A flurry of activity ensued and A very apologetic new nurse informed me that she should’ve sent me to another department first thing this morning. She looked mortified.

‘ Not to worry’ I told her, I’ve had a cup of tea and some nice chats with the other patients, and hell, if it was going to happen to anyone you can guarantee it’d be me!

I was then fast tracked to a thorough examination to find that there’s scarring- some old, some new- and had bits removed but nothing too sinister, keep on with drops and have a number to contact if any more problems. Phew.

 

Even if you wear full face goggles carp still gets in, and it always lands in your eyes.

How many buckets does a person need ?

 

Just moved some of the things from my mums garage where I have been storing them but I’ve still to move a 6ft pillar drill large welder, a tumble dryer and a small freezer....... Ive got a lot of stuff to move around and juggle so as to fit it all in.

 

But that's what all the plumbers I know up here use as a toolbox, a bucket, handy for wet jobs too

 

I won't ask what a "wet job" is

 

I'll let @Merlin Cat answer that one, if I may? Proper plumber which I ain't.
