Just got to the end, glad it’s all ok , I’ve had similar when welding a Bongo ! (Don’t tell anyone!) but luckily the A&E nurse managed to get it out saving me an appointment the next day at the eye clinic

Yes but just remember you had an appointment and if you did not turn up for that appointment weeeeeeelll you will neeeeever be forgiven . I think they should have licked your shoes and bought you wine and pretzels for keeeeeping you weeeeeeping

 

that's good! After finally getting to the right place this afternoon, i now have a card with the eye docs number on to call for next time so i don't have to wait the best part of nine hours to see him!

 

Handy , especially when you start on the bug !

They were very very lovely and apologetic - most of it was my own fault for sitting there saying nothing. and for playing with rusty bits

true. the eye specialist, after seeing lots of old scarring on my eyes, suggested i take up a 'safer hobby'!

not all (but most) were caused by rusty vw's, some were from set building, house renovating and once, gardening!

 

Bein nosey ? Poke in the eye with a stick ? Eat more carrots init sis

Rushing to the workshop from hospital this afternoon (because I’m a trooper!) I forgot a bandana. just tried to brush this gunk knot out of my hair before a bath.
It clearly didn’t go well. Ouch
