We bought two diesel cars 12 years ago. We will keep using them until they break down beyond the capability of car recyclers to provide. I consider myself lucky that they predate the unnecessary obsolecence of Eolys, DPF, DMF and banks of unreliable sensors and computers. They are economical to own costing a fraction of the cost of running my camper van. They will go to the scrap dealer when I am done with them, having bought them at one year old. Any town that charges congestion charge has lost my custom. I will buy stuff online.
