    Good.

The newer ones from usual sources leak like fook. You need a viton one if you do ever need one.

  3. Had one of those awful intense dreams where someone stole the camper and I went all Liam Neeson Taken "I will find you and I will kill you!".......turned out to be somebody from Bristol who became acquainted with my nail-gun:mad:

Anyways once I got up and calmed down ordered some window seals from Scofields-promotion til weds midnight.

Hoping for a more restful night tonight.

Cleaned the carburettor jets in my new LIDL ultrasonic cleaner that was on special offer as it was the last one. The cleaner ran for at least 10 minutes without blowing up and it was still working when I put it away.
Spent ages cutting out a new top carb. gasket as the old one has a split in it, and made a new base gasket too.

Changed the fuel metering needle valve for a new one, and decided to see what happens with a 100 secondary idle jet.

Also rewired the remote switch on my inverter because what I thought was a 12 volt feed (red wire) was the control signal. And vice versa (the 12 volt feed was a white wire) so I managed to pop a track off the PCB when I plugged in the remote switch and accidentally grounded one of the pins of the connector. I had even fitted a resistor to the wrong side to protect against shorts.

  7. Lovely day so worked on some rust remediation; sanding, wire-wheeling, jenolite and primer.

  8. Straightened my steering wheel by two splines.

Zoomed around Jack's Bush again to take the chill off it.

  13. Did nowt to the bus but changed the water pump on my daughters Pug 107 after it dumped it's coolant on the way home last night. Took advantage of Eurocarparts 35% off code(WEEKEND35) to get the pump, a new drive belt and 4 litres of coolant for £52. Mind you she's in for a shock when I drop the bill for my labour on her:D

  14. She should be aware that £90/hour is your standard rate...

  18. Ever since I bought the crewie the speedo hasn’t work , so decided to sort today .........I now know why P.O. didn’t have it working , running on 944 front hubs the grease cap which holds speedo cable doesn’t fit and a 944 one is too shallow to take the stub axle . So decided to experiment cutting the lip off a T2 cap and fettling it to fit the hub , all went well just need to test tomorrow [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
