    Mines the same, got a full BBQ gas one for £10, was about £60 in the shop with no bottle , got a T4 bike rack last week :)

    I asked if I could buy it told a load of health and safety stuff

  4. Whilst you have the milk pan on or the kettle for your coco before bed use the steam to soften the suckers
    Then stick them onto the window quick and don’t try to adjust them once stuck

  7. OCD tendencies are a blessing sometimes but most often are a curse
    Us people that have an engineering type background seem to be the worst for it
    Just look at snotty

    Tell you what though I wouldn’t change it if I could

    I’d love to hear a bit about your background though
    Did I read in a post a while ago you were a fellow fairy?

    For those that don’t know fairy was a nickname for avionics techs

    As far as trade nicknames go I’m glad I wasent a leccy

  11. Lol. Never been a fairy of any description. In the 80s I did a stint as a shambling long-haired contractor doing design/final test of Tornado ground equipment in sunny Munich. Thrust reverser test set ("lock, stow, deploy..."), engine overspeed governor tester and a bit of The Nozzle :thumbsup:

  14. Hopefully I’ve now sorted the locking hub problem, so I’ve assembled it all back together and in the process thought I’d give the wheel arch inners a good clean and wax .[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

  17. Bought a volt reader with USB ports to run of my cigarette lighter. Waited a fortnight for it to arrive from China. Put it in and the bl**dy thing blew straight away!
    I am thinking of writing a very stiff letter to the manufacturer and the distributor as I am down almost five whole pounds
