I keep looking at the roof and thinking it is different from a auto-sleeper roof. Similar to a auto homes, but different angle on the folding bit of the roof. No one has said it is a auto sleeper. Just me presuming it was. And maybe they did a early roof. Any thoughts, or knowledge?
serious question, why do you want 2 vehicles that aren't really practical for daily use, the t25 is poor gas mileage and slow and the lt is huge - not a dig just wondering? i got the t5 as a mixture of both - it's fastish/good mpg and smallish so fits the bill
Why not? I would buy more if I had room. I like campers and thought this one was worth saving. A man has to have a hobby. Campers are mine plus I like doing things up.
Also, if I am totally honest. I love t25 campers and actually think they were the best van VW ever made and most under rated.
It was a bargain? They've got a lot going for them, nice to drive and 2.1 wasser is a cracking engine too, best of the bunch.
I don't really want to talk money on a open forum. I paid what I thought it was worth and the guy accepted the lowest he was prepared to go to. Neither of us was unhappy I have been after another doer upper for a while. This one came on the radar just as I was about to buy a 73 bay that needed a lot more work . I will enjoy it for a while and then probably get another bay. Who knows. It's just another camper in the end!
