    I always liked the MG B GT, but would prefer a chrome bumper one over the rubber nose.

  12. It looks as if its had a restoration not long ago. Metal looks good in the pics and the paint job is nice. Any pics for us of the engine bay?

  16. The overdrive switch looks very James Bond. Does it work?

    On my early mgb the overdrive switch is on the dash rhs. I find when using the overdrive, it can jolt and stress the transmission if you switch it out manually while in 3rd or 4th gear.

    It will switch itself out when you change down to 2nd, then you can use the manual switch, if you get what I mean.

    There is a reverse lockout which prevents the overdrive working in reverse, or it would knacker it as it has a one way clutch in it.

    I had it on my series landy, was another little gearstick
