Not to much to show for the weekend but cleaned and rust killed the engine bay and rubbed down the cab and sprayed them both ready for sealing and another coat of primer
Hi m8 it's fertan and kurust but the fertan is the best but takes 24 to work and dry so I like kurust as it does work well
I know it doesn't look like much but been busy stone chipped the front floor pan and in side front panel Then covered with some primer wash Then put some primer on the in side rear floor and side panels still needs some filler work a round the rear hatch but getting there just a bit of difference
Excellent work, its coming on nicely hard to believe it's the same van .......I'd say at least 20% of it is the same van that was a lot of metal to replace! Just goes to show, anything can be saved with a bit of time, dedication, effort, money .............
Yep thanks looking back and it's changed a lot since I bought it but I remember yours had a lot of rot aswell . So two vans saved just looking forward to painting it now Hopefully in the next month it should be painted
Got some paint on the inside today got to da couple of bits down as not happy with the finsh small run on the door piller and back quarter panel I know it will be covered with headlining but that's me so ome pics for you
One last one so will let that dry and then then one evening spray the engine bay fell like I'm getting some where
Looking ACE... your passing me again would be cool to finnish around the same time and trip out to the same place, shake hands and compare notes on VW camper rescu ration...
