Borrow a car bring a change of clothes We will cover the rest Talking of a rest ive heard a change is as good as a rest
As was my post, glad someone got it. Seam sealing - I'm not keen. Under the rear arches, under the front arches, sills to floor, valances front and back. I've done it, my back hurts, my hands are stained black and so is my hat, I'm not keen. This is something one should pay "someone else" to do. Don't mind underseal so much, I can spray that. Still not keen though and that's to come next. I've also replaced the rear suspension donuts so if the beggar doesn't drive nicely I'll know it's not that and also I'd rather get semi-heavy jobs done while I have a comfortable workshop. Generally though I seem to have slowed to a crawl. I need the engine, that'll give me a lift. Any day now...
Oh and I've fitted my extra oil cooler and as much pipework as I can be sure of, separated carbs from the T1 manifolds ready, built up the fan housing with alternator and flaps, got a silencer ready to fit, got alternator belt ready, foam seal, wiring prepped. Just need to get a fuel pump and pipe, plenty of time for that, I think all else is ready for the conversion to T4.
I turned my fridge down too much and my 2nd lamb shank has gone funny. Cheese pasties for me tonight.
I think Jan's doing a full Sunday roast and Medditeranean roasted veg tomorrow. She's also cake baking in the morning.
I'm a bit rubbish with colour schemes and such-like plus I have a tendency to use what's handy and as said previously, it's got a bit out of hand inside. Thus I have no idea what seat/bed covering would make it look better/worse. So I had a bright idea - every colour. Comments please, and which way would the stripes look best?
I like it. Considered something similar for the ability to put just about any or indeed all colors with it.
I remember your thread - you were toying with the possibilities, the duty you felt almost, to let it all hang out (your feminine side) and go a bit mad. Thus I have spent weeks looking at small pictures of fabric all of which make me go hmm not quite right. Jeez I'm glad I'm a bloke, I won't be doing this again, but in essence I agree with your original intentions. Manly stripes though as I can't quite get over the hurdle either.
Just shown my wife a picture of your interior, had to go back several pages, then a picture of your intended fabric You might as well go for it stripes running lengthwise down the bus
