It suggests she views you with deep suspicion anyway. Plastic bag dodging merely being one of many as yet unspecified causes for her concern. Do you smile at her for example?
at the moment we got loads and loads of plastic bags - the charties keep shoving them through me door !
What was wrong with the biodegradable bags? The tesco ones don't last for toffee anymore, I used to stash them for bin liners but now they disintegrate when I pull them out of the holder. Also what about consumer rights. All products have a 12 month guarantee.....
Just had a sort out of the bags stored under the stairs (hundreds more in the loft I think) and discovered quite a few old ones. There are 4 generations of tesco bags. You can see how thin they've become over the last 25 years.
Lol . I just don't throw them away. I re use them but some clearly got stuck at the bottom of the pile.
Just never buy the nappy sacks from the pound shop, I had a rather unpleasant experience when the bags weren't sealed properly at the bottom! I was just on autopilot picking up the business and thought that feels different, it was then I realised I had basically slid a bottomless bag over my hand like a sleeve
