I heard that you'd had a bit of a finger incident and I can see that it involved a beer can but what exactly did you do? Did you stick your finger in the drinking hole bit?
Then again, viewed differently I've come up smelling of roses. There are two main nerves running up your finger - one on each side and I severed one. The bit I still have some feeling in is the pad line if you like, both sides and the top are numb. I think it would have been worse the other way round. Apologies if it's getting boring, I'm a bit focussed on this today. lol I'll post a pic later to spice it up. 8) Steve - Forefinger right hand and I'm right handed of course. : Mrs D - I had drunk just 1 can of beer and I count that as sober. New kitchen knife was to blame. I'm thinking of suing. If the thing hadn't been attached to it's packaging with strong cable tie-wraps it wouldn't have happened.
On the way home from Vanfest last year, we stopped at a motorway services to get some food and Marc carried an empty can of coke over to the bin....carrying it with his finger down the drinking hold - and nearly cut his finger off. And that was stone cold sober ;D (We were 90 miles from home and I was a bit worried about what would happen cos I couldn't drive the van LOL)
It didn't look great a week ago did it? Now at least I know why it didn't hurt - I severed the nerve. I've just de-stitched it and it looks much better. It bends a bit today as well. Give it another week and good as new apart from one side being numb.
