Can any guitarists on here explain why some people can't be arsed to trim the string ends off the tuning pegs. It's lazy, untidy and dangerous.

 

It's "edgy"? That is proper lazy in that video though, I could forgive him for just coiling them neatly.

 

Daryl Way of good old Curved Air did a good piece by Vivaldi on his violin .

 

It's a statement to say the guitar is just a tool, set up bare minimum, tis I what is the star, I don't respect this unimportant guitar.

I don't want a poke in the eye, nasty! I coil mine up, they play hell with cheap wire cutters.

 

Not bad for a tune written in 1716..

 

guitarists with neat trimmed strings at the headstock are either well prepared and have a set of cutters or rich and have someone to do it for them

 

I notice the young lady is nicely trimmed
