Ah yes I remember that too! I recall the crowd being around 130,000, it was just a sea of people. We saw Big Country again about 10 years later in a park here in Northampton, the crowd was considerably smaller, but the band were still great.
Yes I saw them again at Wolverhampton civic hall can't remember date but Buffalo skinners was just released or about to
REM 1987 I think, or 88, Cardiff University Students Union. Next gig was The Farm, same place a couple of years later.
That's a band I would love to have seen....the youtube clips of Barrowlands on New Years are mega.....I mean, really would have loved to seen, and gutted it will never be.
