Not sure if you've ever tried this - go on youtube and put a song you like's name in and type 'cover' after it: Sometimes you get gems: UKULELE & SYNTHESISER - ARE FRIENDS ELECTRIC? This version makes me smile so much, its near perfect - appreciate some might be fainting into their white face paint at the thought though! Sometimes you get utter sacrilidge (I won't put the Celine Dion version on here are its a family site) manualist plays ac/dc - you shook me all night long!
I do a search for cover versions some times, like you say some are good some are bad. I like the "are friends electric" cover thats quality ........not sure on ac/dc cover though lol!! theres some great talent out there, I love some of the ones of just some one singing at home with an acoustic guitar this ones quite nice Cloudbusting (Cover)
Appreciate that there are better people at doing this with a guitar, but this is still epic in my view. Newton Faulkner teardrops live (Massive Attack cover)
