you know your old when

When you go to a Leonard Cohen concert and work out he is 80 years old.When policemen and soldiers look like young kids playing dress up.When you see the Anzac Day march on TV and remember when you were a kid Boer war veterans marched!And the WW1veterans formed huge columns.Also late last year when our former PM Gough Whitlam passed away aged 98 and you remember attending an election rally and you were still at high school.

 

Yep. You is old!

You know when your old...when you watch retro stuff on the telly and say "I remember this,they dont make them like that anymore...bloody chinese rubbish nowadays..."...

 

I 'm about the same age - went to see Leonard Cohen some years ago - he said and I quote "When I was 16 I fancied 16 year old girls - I am 40 now and still fancy 16 year old girls - difference is I can get them now!"

When you were around when your bus was new

 

I went to the pub yesterday with my mate she introduced me to one of her friends ...he is a Dr at the university ....he looked about 19 ...

 

I work with loads of them. Easiest to treat em like kids. They usually are. Just clever ones.
