Yet another tracking thread....it's finally on its way...

It's finally on a ship to the UK...... well hopefully.



I bought this back in early October.....A 2.0ltr FI Riviera Campervan



I bought it from a guy in Denver after seeing his ad on Ebay, it didn't meet his reserve so I messaged him and made an offer. After an hour or so of haggling a deal was done.

I found a shipper and sorted out collection. It took them at 3 weeks to pick it up. The shippers and the seller just kept messing around. The van then sat in storage in Los Angeles until December 29th when it was finally loaded onto a ship.

Great I thought it's on its way......how wrong was I. The ship then went North to San Francisco where it sat for 3 weeks until it finally made its way to Balboa, arriving there on 2nd Feb. Not sure if it was offloaded there or not, but a week later it ended up in Crystobal.........

And this morning it finally left for...........................................Antwerp...or Rotterdam.

No idea when it'll arrive in Felixstowe but at least its getting closer.



From the info and pictures I have, it looks a pretty solid bus, the interior is worn and will need a bit of work and it was running well when they collected it....we'll see when it arrives.

Nice brown. If you painted it cream above it would look like a Great Western railbus!

 

Was this the riviera version of the champagne? Noticed the chrome bumpers is the br0wn Achat l86z?

 

Especially as it seems the bus is currently on a World tour.
If it gets to China would it pick me up a couple of Pounds of green tea?

Ricky - No idea, it doesn't have the champagne dash, just a white interior. There is quite a lot of paperwork ith it, but it's in the van so I can't trawl through it until it arrives.
