Xmas BBQ and camp. Tatton park, Cheshire Sunday 7th December 2014

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went an' started by Dubweiser, Nov 2, 2014.

Do you fancy attending the TLB Christmas camp, meal and/or BBQ?

  1. Sign me up for all three, I can't get enough of Christmas.

  2. Just the BBQ for me, I'm far to Nesh for winter camping.

  3. Xmas meal and BBQ please, think I'll stay in my own warm bed though brrr.

  4. None of the above as I'm the Grinch.

  1. Ho ho ho Halloween is over, the shops are full of Christmas stuff and Mrs Dubweiser's iPod tried to play several Christmas songs this weekend which means it's time to plan this years traditional TLB BBQ.

I'll phone Tatton Park this week to find out if they've reopened the BBQ area. If not the plan will be to meet at 12 noon in a corner of the carpark and then eat drink and be merry :food: Bring yourselves, children, dogs, food and anything else you fancy. Everyone is welcome just keep the mince pies away from @jivedubbin as he'll scoff the lot ;)

For those brave enough we will be camping on the Saturday evening at the Bickerton Poacher

Camping will be on the large car park as they've closed the camping field. The cost will be £15 which includes electric hook up

I've provisionally booked a table for 7pm - we'll be having a four course Christmas meal which is £17.50 each. It even includes a friendly game of skittles :theforce:

If anyone wants to come for the meal please look at the menu and let me know what you want - they've requested full payment a week before so I'll sort that in a few weeks. Here's the menu, just scroll to the bottom of the page:

Any questions just give me a shout, oh and can I be the first to say Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year :burp:

There is no need to turn up to the BBQ in a Camper - if your van is off the road for the winter turn up any way you like - just bring food

  16. I can pop along to the BBQ for a couple of hours, but unfortunately have to go to work that evening so will be leaving by 2.30 :( Be good to say hello to those I haven't met yet though :)

  19. I'll be at Eskdale, not sure about Fran at the moment. Depends if she gets her sleep apnoea under control by then. The docs reckon its a side effect of one of the tablets she's on.

Might see about coming to the BBQ depending on whether we can organise visiting friends to drop off xmas prezzies etc while we're down there.
