Would you be a lorry driver ?.

I really dont enjoy driving these days EXCEPT WHEN IN THE BUS , soooooooo many prats on the road that only think about themselves, hats off to those that do and drive safely though ,where would we be without um, we dont use the rail network or the canals these days. They do tend to get alot of offers along the auto routes in spain thou i noticed.

 

I'd do it, but only if I could drive a Latvian or Albanian truck with no brakes and the speed limiter turned off...

 

Yes I would as I enjoyed the the driving part when I delivered pharmaceuticals, was on the road 12hours or more a day or more 5 days a week. the only bit that wasn't fun was having no energy at the weekends to do my stuff.

 

I really enjoy driving, doesn't matter what it is I'm driving. I like the freedom of being out on the road. BUT long haul, and I've done many many miles in my time, I have the drowsy syndrome which only copious amounts of redbull and pro plus can sort!

 

I was an owner driver on the cement mixers for 10 years but got sick of being self employed.
5 years on and I really missing being out and about.

I'd drive one, just to try it, and just so I could say "breaker breaker 10:4 for a copy good buddies, er anyone got yer ears on...?" into me Cbeebies radio or something....

 

Id drive one so that I can pull out whenever I like on the motorway regardless of any other vehicle that might happen to be in the lane I want to go in

Seriously though, I have always wanted to have a go, but not for a job

I'd only want to be an 'ice road trucker' I'd show that Hugh how to get up and down them ice roads and make the most money!

Actually i don't like the whole staying away from home bit, I'd get lonely, so i could only do local runs

I'd quite like an hgv licence though
