He is in good humor, but wants to come home. In the 14-years since he has been on the station, he has accumulated flight pay and interest amounting to almost $ 15,000,000 American Dollars. If we can obtain access to this money, we can place a down payment with the Russian Space Authorities for a Soyuz return flight to bring him back to Earth. That has got to be the best version of this I have seen. 14 years in space! ??? So far I have won the lottery, been asked to help move oil out of Iraq, won a Toyota and sadly lost some family in a helicopter crash in Nigeria.
<sigh> You would have thought that they would take a little more care and attention over these things. If he's been in space since 1989, it hasn't been 14 years. It's almost as if they're not really trying very hard to scam you out of your money.
