Working on the bus

  1. Spent the whole day working on the bus today, replaced the inlet manifold rubbers, they were a pure biatch to change out, thought it would be quite straight forward, loosen off the rubbers clips, unbolt the banana tubes and remove , not so, the 2 tubes are recessed into each other, so I had to remove the studs in order to get the banana tubes out, eventualy got them off, replaced the gasket, fitted the rubbers and clips, changed my points, set my timing, and set my valve gaps, MOT on monday, fingers crossed

  2. Good luck with the MoT

Just spent some time under the bug changing the front shocks after the nearside one gave up the ghost and somehow unscrewed itself from the top mount

    Jobs now done though.

Fingers crossed it will stay dry to make a start on some of the jobs on the bus at the weekend
