I resisted the temptation to do "wood" jokes ... Recall some folk on here are woodworkers or kitchen-makers... Q is: where's the best place to get supplies of good quality wood. I'm thinking of decent pieces of oak, etc? My saw hand is twitching...
Have you not looked on line snotty, i only know local ones , but theirs loads on line in your area, oak?? sharpen your saw up then ;D
You could try your local travis perkins , or timber yard , but in my experience a local saw mill is usualy much better quality and cheaper , what do you want the oak for it may help to know , then i can advise properly or source some for you .
