Wont turn over, dead battery - 13.2

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by salad.dodger2, Oct 15, 2013.

  1. Good idea, I'll look into that, cheers

  2. Not sure how keeping it out of the garage will help, was stored in there for 6rs not used and didnt get any worse, infact thats what saved it.

  3. So I changed the terminals on the bus today, checked the battery thats been sitting for a while, thats a 12.3v, connected it up and hey presto

So I went for a drive, filmed some of it.

    Happy days

Glad it started and was not the battery.

I thought you were complaining about pools of water under the bus.
They obviously are not there all the time.

Keeping the weather off the bus is the best thing.

But leaving it for a while means that everything that fails over time in the garage piles up for your first drive.
There are so many postings on here 'first trip of the season and we ended up on the yellow flatbed' .

  5. Only up to the back wheels, bus is driven in so its only the back bit. Its not causing any issues to the bus just cant kneel down to work when its been raining too much.

Had luck today as it was fairly dry.
