Next job is a carb swap, it's got a 32/36 weber on it which has an almighty flat-spot coming off idle...both RNJ Motorsport and a respected Outlaw Flat4 racer have had a go at it without joy, good for bugs but not right for a bus. Will probaly go back to a 34 PICT with an original airbox. Cheers for looking, still enjoying 'the journey'.
lol, you never mentioned this bus was featured in Camper and Bus from September 2007 (not read the article yet but it was around Italy)
Would you or anyone else be able to supply me with a copy as the mag itself doesn't have back issues that far...? Will cover costs/postage of course! It's still going strong by the way!
Hi Ade Great to catch up the other day! Would love to Come over and have a look at your van! Will give you a call soon Cheers Andy
Been a while, what can I say, it just keeps racking up the miles. The black paint where we replaced the deformation panel always bothered me, the mango is a satin mix so quite hard to match so I got busy with the white. Dull update soz, it never lets me down, infact I've dragged it out a fair few times when assorted warning lights on our new 'reliable' motors have come on... All good.
