Woke up to this

    Good job that you weren't too far from home and didn't have your awning up - rain was bouncing off our Velux window making heck of a row last night - nesting pigeons in our hedge got washed out too.

    My thermometer inside the bus while I was "working" was 42 degrees C at one stage today, about 32 outside. @iblaze was amazed up at Keith's Field, that I was still wearing black jeans and a teashirt in 30+C . Then we got the engine running and I was sitting behind it checking the max advance on the distributor... toasty !

    care to share the campsite , we’d booked up there a few weeks back and it was cancelled , ended up in a cottage and loved the area ( Alnwick) we deffo want to go back up there but won’t be going to the campsite we’d booked as they messed us around so much , so looking for alternatives

    Tranwell Farm Campsite. There are loos n showers, no hook up though. Fantastic uncrowded beaches up this way too. Great for kite flying :thumbsup:
