I have been thinking Mr Wiseman and I should venture up north and do an episode there !

Maybe even do a tour around the UK - Filming as we go ... stopping off for local produce along the way?

I'm no Ray Mears but I do know a fair amount. It's more of a thing I have been interested in for the laat 5 years and it is stuff I have picked up.

I was a scout, ironically Ray Mears was in another local scout group (we had Derren Brown!) but I never really had too much of an interest back then. It clicked when I got in to gardening and trying to produce an edible garden

. . . . .and I've yet to poison her/myself/anyone yet! The rule I follow is simple, if I can't be 100% sure, don't eat it. Hence the Wild Parsley looking stuff in E4.

i loved it as vege there is no way i will be doing any sort of meat squashing but i loved the idea of using the fish thingy

The bread came from our local turkish shop - The Turkish Food Centre. There are branches throughout Greater London. Greek shops sell similar bread.

Dont think it will be for a while though as i cant afford to head that far south lol

If people are interested i could post up the books that i own that inspired me and i refference to

American signal crayfish are a pest in the waters up to about lancashire and are so easy to catch and the most delightfull of free food

Maybe if i make it down south sometime we could do an episode on that
