  1. just picked up bus from MOT (passed - yay!) and heard a fuse blow. it was the wipers. changed fuse when got home, turned on ignition fuel gauge jumped, fuse blew and still no wipers.

any ideas, or someone close by to sort it in return for hard cash!

too many things going wrong and was supposed to have my first proper camping trip in it next week :(

Is it blowing before you touch the wipers switch?

What Amp fuse are you using?

  3. Sounds like a loose wire is earthing somewhere. Have a little look under the dash and see if you can see anything hanging about...

  6. Have a look here

Find your year and you should be able to work out what wires go where.

If it's your wipers it's probably current track 17 and 18, so it's a green wire, black and grey stripes or black and yellow stripe wire you're looking for.

  8. no untaped connectors and now battery light coming on, fuel gauge jumping and another blown fuse.
really don't know what i'm doing so will have to find an auto electrician. my mechanic doesn't do electrics.

  9. Pm Matty on this forum. He does electrickery for a living.

  11. Yeah, just search for Matty in the members list. He's a mobile electrician who specialises in campers so he might be right up your alley!
