winter hobbies

what do you lot do in winter now its to miserable to be out
this is what me and my little boy do we started it last winter it keeps us out of trouble

 

Keep on mountain biking all weathers, great fun as long as you're properly equipped and don't go out on your own.

 

thats a bit cold for me i work outside last thing i want to do after work is get even colder hahahah great pic thou

 

Mountain biking,guitar learning and doing more stuff on the van...

 

I have to wait a few months, but it'll probably be setting out the new garden.

In the winter I tend to build models. Bought loads last year still in their boxes so they should keep me busy for the next few years.

 

Stop climbing the limestone and get out more on Gods own rock, Gritstone. It only stops being sweaty after October. Ironically get more caving done in winter(limestone), easier time at work so can manage 3/4 hour trips after work and 8 hour+ at weekends.

Walking and wild camping
The countryside is empty when the weather gets colder and harsher so i have more of it to myself
Plus its nice to not have so many bitey bugs around

 

I usually sleep in a straw-filled shoe box. My owner uses a sharpened pencil to punch holes in the top, so I won't suffocate

 

Pike fishing, take my slow gin.

 

I like doing this this video is not me but it gives you a good idea and how scary it can be on Striding edge, one slip and it's curtains but the adrenalin certainly keeps you aware, can't wait to give it another go

 

I 'froze' last time I did Striding Edge....not literally....just bottled it for some unknown reason...had to crawl on me hands & knees for a bit

 

with or without wine can you dive into them ponds?, @Silver s bus wouldnt make those hills thou
