window winder

Has anyone got a spare window winder they are looking to get rid of.

Mine broke at the weekend / happy to by one online but I know sometimes people have things like this hanging about for a cheap sale????

 

I've heard only bad things about new window winder mechs coupled with new furry bits etc. Worth looking. Someone will be chucking rusty doors... Soz not got any.

 

Agree with Zed - don't buy new; the knob will come off, the handle will snap, or the 'star' will round.

If you're passing Ginger's VW (like last week for example), I'm sure he'll have one you could have.

 

May be able to help, which side and are you at CJ.

 

aren't they the same both sides?

its the drivers side handle - and not at CJ

Are you after the window winder handle or the mechanism in the door?

It is is the handle then I have a genuine one; £3 posted

or if you want a stronger (Deluxe) handle I have a pair for £18 posted (strong solid chrome casting with black inset and knob)

Just so you know, the winder was free, you were just paying for Royal Mail....damn, they are expensive
