Window substitute question...

  1. My flip out window on the back left side, has a badly rusted frame on it, and im wondering if I can opt out of using that two peice design and just go with what is the same on the other side, a straight peice with no flip out vent window. They look to be the same. Was the vent window an option? Are there vans out there that only used one solid piece? I have the louvered windows on the sliding door and the other side by the sink, so I dont really need the vent window...thanks!!

  2. You can replace it with a standard single glass panel and a standard seal.

  3. Yep, I did this, looks much tidier too

  4. Cool, I think I shall take that route...thanks folks!!

  5. Success!! I picked up a peice of glass for my rear left window, tossing the flip out setup, too much rust to deal with and a pain in the but to locate another one plus the seals for the little flip out window is pricey...I think the clean look of a solid glass will be pretty cool...

  6. You can also get a new Brazilian slider for the back left.
Don't know what they cost where you are but there £73 here with a new seal.
