Looking at the trouble farmers are saying they are in (no idea if they are or aren't), I'd imagine the one thing that the rural population/industry needs less that negligible famous ex pop stars is a whole load of clueless ex city dwellers selling up and pushing up house prices?

 

But new interest is needed as most rural kids want out in the big wide world

 

As long as you are concentrating on this and not self harming over Harry Styles, my work here is done.....

Very little in life more embarrassing than an older bloke trying to be down with teenagers.

Being rural is more convenient in some ways and dependant on where you live it can result in some separation from the burning metropolitan issues of the day such as immigration and the decay of society generally whilst still being able to have an opinion (so far as its a right wing opinion) and voice it to all and sundry in the local pub. It is however a pain in the wotsit if you require hospital treatment, decent schooling or shopping!

I will just wear my hunters and wax jacket down the high street whilst shouting come-bye at every black and white dog I see.

 

I do that in our little village, no one pays a blind bit of notice.

 

It probably will be difficult for you as I suspect we may have more Counsellors to the square mile than the whole of southern France... An option would be for you to come over here and use your relationship with this social crisis to help others talk through it.
