Hi all, does anyone know if Mercedes Adharaz alloys will fir my late bay? Sorry I cannot post a piccie of the wheel at the mo, but I am doing this from a different computer & cannot do it. the spec of the wheels are as follows: front 17x7.5 et 36 rear 17x8.5 et 34 centre bore 66.6mm thanks peeps
pcd and centre bore should be fine, width and offset will be the challenge: wheel offset calculator says fronts will have 22mm less inner clearance and poke 28mm more. rears will have 33mm less inner clearance and poke 43mm more - thats a lot. the R170 slk had a very similar wheel but in 16" that might be a better option - they are only (!) 7" wide and are ET 37. adharaz 17": SLK 16" rim: i think they'd look great. Lovely design, but empi-5 feel about it. Maybe buy a single (or borrow one if you can) to try it out? You might need to make up a set of 4 fronts? here's the 16" version on a T25:
Thanks rob.e I already have 15 inch empi 5s on my bus and would have liked to go to 17s - not really sure it would be worth all the hassle and expense just to go up 1" in diameter to 16s, but the 17s sound too wide. Like you say, will see if I can find some locally to try then see if I can get a set of 4 fronts. I like these wheels as they look like empi's. Cheers buddy.
i think these would look great - i'd love to see them on a late bay. post some pics if you managed to get them on.
saw these pics on t'interweb (and remembered the topic had been discussed on here... so here they are adharaz 17"s on a bay: Not sure about them myself if i'm honest - maybe its the whitewalls that make them just look massive - prob would look better without IMO and maybe if it was a bit lower too that might help..
Hi there, I've got 17" on my bay and there fine had to put longer studs on and a spacer on the rear's. I personally think that the whitewall makes things dis-proportionate and the set up would look "the dogs " without whitewall's. IMHO. "oh and also had to have the bore on the fronts machined out slightly"
