i ve hatched a plan in my tiny mind if i lay both doors flat like in the picture mark equal lines on the locking edge then measure down to the floor then if the blue door is higher apply weight (my right foot )to the high spots is it a plan ? i ve help comeing tomorrow (fletch)any other spare hands more than welcome
sounds like a plan!! ;D i also have been trying to fit a slider for the last couple of days. nightmare!! its on it closes but just cant get the gaps right. and now can see how bad the po attempts at fitting panels are. didnt look that bad till the door went on : good luck
The arrow on my aduleration of your pic in my last post above shows you where its kinked. It's obvious even in the picture - it should be a smooth curve but yours has a sudden bend.
id say so but tread carefully LITERALY! keep bending it a little at a time and trying it on the van. did fbi tell you it was bent and give you a discount ? there panels are usually good.
Bending things is easy. Bending them back to there original shape after is not. Something got stretched, some compressed and you won't be able to easily revert it to how it was. Maybe talk to FBI, offer to jump on it on the understanding if it doesn't work out you'd like any exchange. Better this than jump on it then ring them.
i ve dropped them a email this morning i ll get everything else ready glass out pop top off etc etc and if i ve any day left and not had a reply i ll bell em and take it from there
i ve had a reply from them even though there on holiday and he say to have a go at bending it back and see where that get s me quite impressed with there response
