A lot of people will let other swear words slip by without a comment However when you use the c word a lot of people air there dissaproval So what is it about the c word that makes it the worst?
not sure to be honest..it's a word which seems very offensive to woman more than men..I don't like the word WIDGET...But often gets used and makes me shudder and quote the bible.
dunno tbh - for example if you call a person that, its very often spoken in anger! But I agree with your last comment, it sure does
personally i dont get offended by any word. its just a word, its in the dictionary so why the fuss. i also believe that you can take offense but cant give offense
I always great my closet work college "c@@t face". And the wife sometimes calls me the same ! All said in jest . Its only a word .......that said I wouldn't want to hear it from kids
Its only a word, fair enough not always appropriate to say sometimes, but still a word, and if its good enough for Chaucer.......
agreed. it seems to be the last word that still has the right amount of venom and shock value. so many expletives have entered common usage that they've lost their 'value' (for want of a better term. A horrible word for those times when it's the only one that will do. lots of feminist arguments around its use/abuse. personally i don't like it but i have been known to use it in reference to some particularly odious character in the past.
^this, but it seems to be fashion. Wasn't that long ago that the c-word was vulgar, but nothing special. Dunno why it's become so taboo.
i know Rafa isn't doing well, but all this debate over the C word? i'm gonna say it and sod the conceqenses, CHELSEA.
