Why is it?

  1. Why is it that 99% of the work needing doing to our bays results in more time doing this:

    than actually doing the work?

Usually when you've got greasy hands too. ::)

I'd nominate a fairly unique design, for sure with the engine, and the worlds least helpful Haynes manual (would it have killed them to put more pics in for a start!)

But I agree - anyone overhearing me speaking to myself would usually hear the words "WTF is that", before, during and after any work done!

  3. I found even though I thought I was organised, I spent hours and hours just finding the right nuts and bolts to fix it all together....the longer a part had been off, the longer it took to find the swaabs ;D

  4. Totally. :)

And why is it the easy jobs take longer to do?

    Removal of engine - 1hr
Fitting tinware back on - 2-3hrs and plenty of swearing

  5. The length of time a job takes is inversely proportional to the perception of it's difficulty.
