Ah so all them times when he voted against parliamentary bills brought about to kerb terrorists is a right wing lie
What he said on Question Time was he voted against the legislation because he did not agree with the attempt by the Executive to give itself yet more powers without any Judicial oversight of these powers. If you are interested in the Election you might find the following voting patterns of May and Corbyn interesting: Voting records for May and Corbyn on them Terrorism Act 2000 May: Absent from the final vote (there was no Second Reading) Corbyn: Voted against it Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 May: Voted for it at Second Reading; absent at Third Reading Corbyn: Voted against it Fourteen-day detention May: Voted against it Corbyn: Voted against it Control Orders May: Voted against it Corbyn: Voted against it ID cards May: Voted against it Corbyn: Voted against it Ninety-day detention (Tony Blair's first defeat in the Commons; i.e. most MPs voted against) May: Voted against the 90-day aspect. She voted for it at the Third Reading after major changes Corbyn: Voted against at every stage Counter-terrorism Act 2008 (extend detention without charge to 42 days, abandoned after being defeated in the House of Lords) May: Absent from the vote Corbyn: Voted against it Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Act May: Voted for it (Her bill) Corbyn: Voted against it Justice and Security Act 2013 May: Voted for it at Second Reading; absent at Third Reading Corbyn: Voted against it (Mr Corbyn said he opposed secrecy in courts and voted against it.) The Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Snoopers Charter) May: Voted for it (Her bill) Corbyn: Absent from the vote For me the most enjoyable part of the Election debates was Tim Farron's summary on the debate the Prime Minister failed to attend - 'Farron says Rudd is coming up next. The PM could not be bothered to turn up. Bake Off is coming up next. Make yourself a brew. You are not worth her time. So don’t give her yours'.
Very likely but they may also prefer not to have suffered from 20,000 less Police, 1,300 less Armed Police Officers, 22,000 less Army personnel, 5,000 less Navy personnel, 25% less RAF personnel, 15% fewer Firefighters since 2010 during the watch of the lady who promises to be strong and stable.
Depends what year you're referring to - 1979 Blue, 1997 Red, 2010 Orange, 2017 - you've guessed it already.
oh sorry , i thought this particular conversation was about saint jeremys failings and how the right wing twist the facts
reds were changed to orange in 1976 but re-introduced in 1987, so you was ok there. I just don't know which colour or just say sod it and buy a pack of peanuts
When I joined in 1987 the navy numbered 65,000 now it is circa 29,000 ... so the other 30,000 went between 1987 and 2010 ... I wonder which party was responsible?
Sad fact now is technology is taking over. They have cameras on bombs and can drop em on your head so numbers are not as important.
This inspiring advertisement makes me want to do 2 things 1/ Immediately move to East Yorkshire. 2/ Vote Conservative. The production values are incredible, his theme song is worthy of an award, and I have to find out if his hairdresser is local. I wonder if he got his charisma bypass on the NHS or if he went private? Sine he's a Tory I'd guess he went private.
I'm voting pipsqueak! For bern Anything is better than voting Tory After allowing the Brexit referendum I hate them for that allowing Silly old fools with one foot in the grave and one foot on a Banana skin to vote out Wanting the empire back I hope that lefty kicks their rrs now
