I'm looking for some new rear 1/4 glass and seals , door runner covers and repair panels for the side and rear window frames . Who is best to buy from quality wise price etc . I know there's lots of variables but i'm new to the VW malarkey
Ive bought from several places online ...i like coolair--gsf--justkampers=hit or miss really .....its like a lottery with rubber
a while back there seemed to be a discernable difference in both quality and fit, between one supplier and the next....these days they're all calling it 'german quality'....whatever that means....Alan Schofield is OK for repair panels, seals etc. but ideally, you could do with PMing @zed or someone who has more day to day knowledge of bodywork repairs for better info....
I try em all it's normally price driven for me which is not always the best tack (mega bug rubbers were s**t). Also just bought a side window rubber from veewee (GSF) which, when it came had the bay part number on it but was a split screen part. Messages them and I got no response so they are bottom of my list at the moment. I find machine 7 very good as well as coolair and c&c. Vwh and just kampers are ok for some bits.
