10mm sockets are much like golf balls in that you never really own one, you just rent it until you lose it.
I found my magnetic led light that has been missing for 2 years the other day. Under the fuel tank of my bug... that's done some serious mileage.
I haven’t ‘lost’ my no2 pozi bit from my set. I know exactly where it is, stuck in a gate post 2 inches in!
My 10mm socket rolled out of a box of miscellaneous junk after I had written its obituary. Its most exciting time was when I dropped the box it was in and it fell about 2 metres into the middle of a workshop. Some items ended up about 10 metres away under a boat.
On the plus side, I did once find a nice Britool 1/4” socket wrench under the bonnet of my Golf when it came back from a service
