A quality sausage is a thing of joy and pleasure... One of my 'grumpy middle aged man' hates is the so called 'catering sausage' often served in a full english at greasy spoons...I hate the bloody things. If only they offered a 'sausage upgrade' facility on the menu! Went to one of the local cafe's near our new house last week..despite it being withing sight of a small local butchers, it was the usual crap sausage... why don't they work out a deal with the butcher to use and promote the local produce..?
We have a traditional Butchers just down the road from us, the sausages from there are awesome! Two of them bad boys is practically a meal in itself..
Once put a new roof on at the slaughter house. The guy who cleaned the intestines out (sausage skin to you and me) looked like part of the Addams family. Put some of the lads off their Sunday dinner for a while
