Who have you lost touch with (and wish you hadn't)?

  1. Just reminiscing while waiting for me dinner and randomly thought of a friend that I haven't seen for ages and wish I had!

  2. Theres a few .perhaps we could start a T L B find your mate thread . Made easy by the fact that we are all over the place like a bad rash . so for example I could say you live near my old mate Dave in Watford ,could you pop round and say hello , Ive got a rough idea where he lives , or you could just try facebloke ,i found an old mate on there after I searched his name and he moved to to the west country

  4. Yes - there is one - my digs mate from college- we hung out together for the best part of a year. I visited his home town - Oldham - and dated his gf's best friend for. 6 months - then he left college after his gf got preggers - and we lost contact. - anyone out here seen Terry Davies - he would be 70 now.

It was a lot harder to keep in touch when I left Uni in the late 70s. We all went our own ways and that was it. These days there's FB and texting - so much easier to stay in some kind of contact with mates.

Couple of people I was told I had to loose touch with instantly , moving swiftly on!
Other than that two brothers, one went to NZ the other only Holland but neither on fb or anything so have dropped off the radar.

  8. Thanks mate. I have a long time friend who disappears of the map for years. Last time i saw him was anout 10 years ago. He then dropped completely off the radar. Ive managed to find him a couple of times and exchanged messages but tbh i miss him. Clearly not reciprocated, lol. Anyway. On the back of your post ive just had a google for him ( havent done that for a couple of years) found him on bookface and sent him a message. Seems hes alive and well but no response yet. Fingers crossed.

  9. I lost touch with the Dalai Lama years ago. The benders we used to go on, mooning out of car windows, the lot. Then we just grew apart, and he moved to Tibet. Haven't seen him since.

My best mate Philip(Dixie)Dean, he was my best man when I married my first wife, he was god father to my eldest, he married a northern lass and moved up there to be near her family, I haven't seen him for nearly 30 years, I would love to find him, I don't think he's the face ache type, and I'm certainly not

  11. Google! Why didn't I think of that?
You use it 20 times a day but probably never for a really important reason.

Surely it's not offensive enough to be deleted, I didn't even say Shiite or bu99er! (Oh carp! Now I have)
